Analysts at Bernstein predict that the Bitcoin and Ether ETF markets will experience a remarkable surge, potentially reaching $450 billion by 2025. Compared to the current market capitalization of US Spot Crypto ETFs of roughly 60 billion dollars, that would mean an increase of at least 7.5x/750%(!). Crypto market braces for repayment plan Mt. Gox

A lot has been going on regarding Mt. Gox, the once-important Bitcoin exchange that collapsed in 2014 due to a major hack. The exchange, which lost 850,000 Bitcoin, is now working to repay its creditors by distributing more than $9 billion in Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash. Mt. Gox plans to return 142,000 Bitcoin and 143,000 Bitcoin Cash to creditors, in addition to 69 billion Japanese yen (about $510 million) by October 2024. Experts suggest that the influx of such a large amount of Bitcoin into the market could unsettle the crypto market. Creditors might rapidly sell their received Bitcoins, thus increasing the supply and lowering the price.
