To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Chief Investment & Operations Officer (CIO).
Job Description
The CIO is responsible for developing and executing Poolder’s investment strategy, with a strong focus on digital assets and blockchain. Additionally, the CIO oversees operational execution, including investment administration, IT processes, custody structure, and facility management.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement Poolder’s investment policy within AIFMD frameworks.
Ultimately responsible for portfolio management and monitoring of investment performance.
Coordinate communication with custodians, depositories, execution partners, and other stakeholders in the investment chain.
Execute and optimize search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine advertising (SEA), aimed at improving online visibility and conversion.
Ensure compliance with all investment-related legal and regulatory requirements.
Desired background and experience
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in investment management, with at least 2 years under AIFMD at a fund manager or investment fund.
Proven hands-on experience with crypto or digital asset investments
Experience with digital asset custody, blockchain infrastructure, and DeFi (and related risks) is a plus.
Strong affinity with technology and operational setup of digital investment platforms.
Experience with portfolio management systems and reporting workflows.
AFM suitability requirements (Policy-maker group B)
Executive experience: At least 2 years as a policymaker or statutory director, including 1 consecutive year.
Managerial experience: At least 2 years of hierarchical leadership, including 1 consecutive year.
Subject-matter expertise (specific): At least 2 years of recent experience in portfolio management or alternative investments.
Experience under AIFMD: Minimum of 2 years.
